Bundle up the Bissell Charity Event at Wheaton Toyota on the Trail
Kicking off on the 11th of January, we’ll be participating in a great cause that runs through the 22nd of the month, as the Bundle up the Bissell charity event comes to Wheaton Toyota on the Trail. The Bissell Centre, for those who are unaware, provides support to impoverished individuals, families and communities in order to help them get out of the unfortunate situations they may be in, with a vision of eliminating poverty in the area. We’re happy to be a part of this wonderful event supporting such a great cause.

With the very real possibility of those in the area without homes actually losing limbs due to how cold it can get here in Edmonton, the Bissell Centre put out a request for the donation of warm clothing and accessories like coats, hats, gloves and scarves back in November. After this request was made, Christine Bruckmann, the woman behind justanotheredmontonmommy.com, put together this upcoming 2-week collection.
The idea behind the event, is that any of you out there who just got new winter clothes and are looking for something to do with the old ones, or even if you just have old or unused winter items like that lying around, to bring them into participating business around the city and donate them to the cause. They’ll then be delivered to the Bissell, and given to people that really need them not just to stay warm but to survive.
We will have a box here at Wheaton Toyota on the Trail starting later this week, and will be happy to accept any donations that you may have before getting them into the right hands. If you have any questions about what types of items to deliver or where you need to donate them, just give the sales team a call at 780-701-2222 and we’d be glad to help.
